There is one part of Al Gore’s Global Warming argument that is factual –
The time for discussion is over!
The facts are that
Man made global warming is at best a hoax.
It is a false concept that has been disproved, discredited, and denied by every creditable scientist in every creditable organization in the world.
In Great Britain even the courts have ruled that the Gore ‘pseudo-documentary’, “An Inconvenient Truth” is full of factual errors and distortions.
The BBC has produced a real documentary, “Global Warming Swindle”, which discredits the entire Gore film (and theory) with testimony from real scientists.

Thousands of climatologists and meteorologist have come forward with statements, studies, and reports that completely refute the sham of ‘Global Warming’.
So how does the Gore crowd refute these arguments? Do they offer debate, countering arguments, or proven facts? No! That is because there are none!
In stead, the say, “The time for discussion is over” and “Many of those scientist were paid by Exxon!”
Well, we challenge them to name just one scientist of the many thousand that counter the global warming theory that paid by Exxon. They can’t.
Two new reports, one by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and a second that appeared in The London Daily Express further discredit global warming theory.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) report states that Ice levels which had shrunk from 5 million square miles in January 2007 to just 1.5 million square miles in October, are almost back to their original levels.
The London Daily Express (Feb. 18, 2008) reported that there is nearly a third more ice in Antarctica than usual, challenging the global warming argument and supporting those who deny that the world is undergoing global warming.
The Daily express further recalls “a photograph of polar bears clinging on to a melting iceberg which has been widely hailed as proof of the need to fight climate change and has been used by former Vice President Al Gore during his "Inconvenient Truth" lectures about mankind’s alleged impact on the global climate.
Gore fails to mention that the photograph was taken in the month of August when melting is normal. Or that the polar bear population has soared in recent years.
As winter roars in across the Northern Hemisphere, Mother Nature seems to have joined the ranks of the skeptics.”
The Express added that,
“scientists are saying the northern Hemisphere has endured its coldest winter in decades, adding that snow cover across the area is at its greatest since 1966. The newspaper cites the one exception — Western Europe, which had, until the weekend when temperatures plunged to as low as -10 C in some places, been basking in unseasonably warm weather. “
It is fact that. All over the globe, vast areas have experienced some of the heaviest snowfalls in decades. China, the United States, and Canada had very heavy snows. In China, over 100,000 houses collapsed under the weight of snow.
China reported the worst winter weather in 50 years.
The Middle-East had record cold and snow falls. They also experience their highest number of death do to winter weather.
We could go on with listing the hundreds of reported winter problems and cold related deaths, but the point has been made—we have said and we will say it again, “Global Warming is a Hoax”
The time has come to stop talking about it! The time has come to stop lying about it and get on with real solutions to real problems.
The time has come to build new power plants and solve the energy problems with solutions that do the best we can to lower pollution, but without restrictions that result from the false religion of global warming.
It is time that the Congress, the Presidential candidates, and all of the other followers of the ‘false profit, Al Gore’ accept that it is time to pull the plug on the false god, ‘global warning’.
Real science has declared it dead!

Ice is good as long as not in my driveway and with the winter we have had in Northern Illinois this year, believe me some warming would be welcome.
I knew Al Bore was blowing hot air (no pun intended) again as he did with his "after I invented the Internet" statement.
The problem is with all this Global Warming talk, somebody is going to make a ton of money and we will all be paying.

My Science teacher won't even allow us to have a discussion on global warming.
He says that if its isn't true--No harm done!
If it is real--World saved! End of dicussion.
I've tried to tell that it will cause massive harm. He won't listen.
What can I say, he also thinks Gore was elected President.
If Gore is so wrong, why did he receive the Nobel Peace Prize?

The Nobel prizes in science, economics, medicine, etc. are awarded by panels
of experts in each of the award fields.
The winners have been recognized by their peers for having accomplished something
outstanding and generally something beneficial.
Such is not the case with the Peace Prize. The Peace Prize is award by
politicians and more often than not, it is used to make a political
statement. How else does one explain the award going to the likes of Yasher
Arafat, James Earl Carter, and yes, Albert gore, Jr.
In recent years, it has frequently been used to embarrass the United States.
Al Gore received the award because they wanted to emphasize the fact that
Mr. Bush had not signed on to the Kyoto Accords.
The Kyoto Accords would place a very heavy burden on the U.S., forcing us to
really cut back on most industries to meet the required standards, while at
the same time exempting major polluters like China.
Watch dog, excellent answer about the Nobel Peace prize. Most people do not know that Nobel created the prizes in his will to draw attention away from the deaths caused by his new invention: nitroglycerin or dynamite. They are even more biased than the IPCC which was created to find problems with the use of fossil fuels.
how can you not realise that the reason why the snow level was much smaller in october than in January wa because after the summer, the ice had melted and then during the winter it froze again. also, climate change is caused by co2, which is proved to block longwave radiation and is also proved to be emitted in vast amounts. oh, and by the way, most scientis do agree that climate change is caused by man
I remember when the slightest news story about warming changes to the climate was siezed upon by the AGW true believers as "proof positive" that the climate was running out of control. Now, there is a veritable avalanche (excuse the snow metaphor) of news articles, scientific articles and scholarly papers refuting all aspects of AGW and their response is to tell us to ignore them. You can't have it both ways. I have always believed that this was a big hoax, but now there is enough evidence on the table that perhaps it will only take having to put a few of these people in jail for fraud before things start to come back to reality. that being the case, I volunteer Algore to take the fall for his AGW brothers.

Don't think you need to worry about that any more, RWD. The prospects for passing "cap & trade" legislation in the US Congress were already iffy at best before the "Climategate" bombshell hit back in November 2009. Now its prospects for passage are at absolute zero. There's a better chance that Jessica Biel will finally respond to one of my letters than there is that the US Congress will pass "cap & trade" legislation any time soon. It would be political suicide.
And without the US Congress on board, it doesn't matter what treaties on carbon emissions the US might sign. Any such treaties must be ratified by Congress in order to become effective.

I agree. Experiments have proven that around twenty years the temperatures are going to descend at least 2 degrees across the world.

Whether or not man-influenced climate change is happening, the benefits of leaving behind carbon-dependent energy sources are many. Besides allowing us to not be involved with violent governments and their angry people, it will make transition to the inevitable end of oil and gas a cakewalk rather than a chaotic disastrous scramble. Infrastructure changes need to happen ASAP to prepare for the inevitable changes to energy production that will happen in this century. I know, hard to think that far ahead....but it's essential to our success as a country, and as a global community to move on, and, hopefully, lead the charge. Or suffer the horrible consequences. Our choice.
