Saw the Stosell show on 20/20. It was powerful!
Gore has really distorted the facts.
I just retired after nearly 30 years with NOAA as a climatologist.
While I firmly believe that we should do everything that is reasonable to clean-up the environment, I do not believe that mankind has anything to do with the warming trend.
In fact, all the evidence indicates that we have had much greater swings in mean temperature than are predicted for this swing.
Plants and animals have all survived those swings All the ice in the northern hemisphere was gone for nearly 1400 years and the Polar Bears thrived.
The ocean levels rose by mere inches as opposed to the levels projected by the very misleading Gore film.
