The war in Iraq is going so well that both the NY Times and the Washington Post have had to admit it to be so. To their liberal biased credit, both buried the story deep inside in the hope that few would read it, but it was there.
This is of course very bad news to the Democrats who are fully vested in a defeat for U.S. forces in Iraq. As has been the case for years, when there is good news in Iraq, the Democrats step-up their efforts to undermine our forces and insure surrender by the U.S.
Now is no exception. The Senate Dunce, Harry Reid and the House Madam, Nancy Pelosi, have stated that they will force surrender by not funding the war that they authorized. Causing the U.S. to surrender for purely political reasons is an act of treason and should be dealt with accordingly.
Certainly, two such brilliant strategic planners have allowed for the fact that a precipitous withdrawal will require that the retreating troops will have to blow-up multi-million dollar tanks, self-propelled guns, troop carriers, and thousands of trucks and humvees. This action will be needed to keep them from being used against our own forces in the future. And of course they are prepared to spend the trillions of dollars needed to replace those assets with a crash program.
Unfortunately, we know for certain that they have not planned for the loss of OPEC oil by the U.S. and Europe. Even as OPEC oil approaches $100 per barrel, Congress fails to act on anything resembling a meaningful energy plan. Can’t afford to tick-off any of those environmentalists, can they? No, they will destroy the U.S. while pretending that they are saving the earth from the phony claim of man-made global warning!
Under the alleged leadership of Reid and Pelosi, this U.S. Congress is a greater threat to America than are the Muslim terrorist’s.
Bin Laden could not have hand picked two more loyal allies than Reid and Pelosi.
If these fools succeed in a forced surrender, we may all find ourselves wishing that Flight 93 had indeed taken out the Capitol.

What has happened to America? Have we gotten to the point that defeating the opposite party is more important than what is good for the country? The venom from BOTH sides is appalling. Come on, let's pull for AMERICA and what's good for America!!!
A few hours ago, I heard a retired General talking on the radio. He said that it will take months just to get the tanks out of Iraq.
It also appears that Reid lied when he said that Gates told him that they would not need funding until spring. I would guess that Reid is trying to shift the blame for abandoning the troops away from his cowardly self.
