These cases are always a bit perplexing to me because the Ten Commandments are the bedrock of our entire legal system. That being the case, why object to displaying them in the Courthouse?
Today, I received the answer from a friend (himself being a retired lawyer)
“Why can’t we display the Ten Commandments in our Courthouses?
Three of the commandments—
“THOU SHALL NOT STEAL"
“THOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY”
“THOU SHALL NOT LIE”
Create a hostile working environment for the
LAWYERS,
JUDGES,
and
POLICIANS that work there.”
Now, it all makes perfect sense.

it would be funny if it were not so damn true!
What about the 1st Amendment that protects the government from religion?
I know that you are victim of a liberal education system, but--
The 1st Amendment was written to guarantee protection of religion from government and not to protect government religion.
As a state prosecutor, I can attest to the sentiment expressed in this blog.
My brother, a corporate lawyer, forwarded your address to me.
Keep up the good work.
